Josie and Anthoni Troilo are the husband and wife team and co-owners of Citrus Salon and Day Spa. Their passion for each other and the beauty industry led them to create the Citrus brand in 2004.

Both Josie and Anthoni are active 'behind the chair' hairdressers as well as are directly responsible for the day to day operations at Citrus.

They have spent over 20 years in the beauty industry mastering both advanced cutting and coloring techniques.

Josie and Anthoni love working together to create an unforgettable experience for their staff as well as their clients. Assembling a team of like-minded professionals who share the same core values such as respect, integrity, passion, craftsmanship, and commitment is the key to their success.

They both love traveling and spending time with their families. They also enjoy the theatre and working on projects together. Josie enjoys shopping, taking walks and creating unforgettable memories for the family. Anthoni enjoys reading, playing golf, good movies, sporting events and making people smile. They invite you to experience their warm space and wonderful staff, and look forward to being a part of your unforgettable life.

Angela
Stylist

Angela is a hairstylist, makeup & lash artist and experienced in Keratin treatment. She enjoys learning and constantly expanding her knowledge in the field of beauty. Angela has taken Nick Arrojo & Bumble&Bumble classes and Wella coloring classes. She is certified in Babe Extensions, Xtreme Lashes, Keratin and Kandee Johnson makeup. Angela has worked at Citrus Salon for five years, three of which she spent as a Stylist.

Angela enjoys exploring and seeing new things. Her goal is to see a lot of the world especially italy, her second home. She comes from a big sicilian family and loves traveling the world to visit them. family is a big part of her life. She loves drawing in her free time.

Angela enjoys bringing out the inner beauty in others as a hairstylist and makeup artist. Her artistic abilities help in creating something beautiful. She lives by two quotes: ‘When you look good, you feel good.’ and ‘The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away’ ~Pablo Picasso.

Brooke
Stylist

Brooke has over fifteen years of experience in the industry. Formerly from pittsburgh, she studied at Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She has also completed several training sessions in both Bumble&Bumble and Wella. She always looks forward to future education.

Brooke has been a part of Citrus for over thirteen years, from the time it opened in 2004. She loves making people feel beautiful while forming great relationships along the way. Married for a decade, Brooke has two beautiful children. The family enjoys traveling and making memories including skiing and trips to the beach. She is a huge fan of cooking, shopping, exercising and home decor.

Dina
Senior Stylist

Dina has been working in the industry for over thirteen years. While attending school at the beauty institute in ambler, she began working at Citrus. She considers herself fortunate for having trained under anthoni and larry for years. Her continuing education include cutting and styling classes at Bumble&Bumble in NYC, classes at Wella Color, Kerastase & Kevin Murphy.

She is proud to be a part of Citrus where she worked herself up from a Shampooist to becoming a Senior Stylist.

She loves transforming people with her creativity and helping them look their best. Making them look good and feel confident is what inspires her. She loves to create colors and styles that best suits each individual.

Dina has been married for five years and has two small boys that keep her on her toes. She loves to cook, bake, and spend time with her family. She loves to explore the world and travels to Italy where her family is from. She enjoys being outdoors and skiing with her family.

Eileen
Stylist

John
Stylist

With over thirty-five years in the industry, John has seen many transitions and innovations over the years. He has been with the Citrus family for thirty-two years starting at Troilo Salon that later became Citrus.

John has a vast experience in all types of hair color, having helped train many young stylists in the art of hair color. Not to mention, he is a perm-meister!

He has trained with some of the top professionals in the industry - Gordon-Phillips Beauty School, Congress of Color and Minardi & Minardi Salon, NYC - where he completed a week-long intensive training.

John loves making people feel beautiful and good about themselves, enjoys working with young people and seeing them fulfill their potential and creating an uplifting positive experience for others.

He loves sports and is an avid tennis player. John has been married for twenty-eight years to Linda, a third-grade teacher. They have three children and a beautiful granddaughter. John is also an ordained christian minister - which makes Citrus a “full service salon” at times!

Kathryn
Stylist

Kathryn has seven years of experience in hair cutting, coloring, keratin treatments, foil highlighting, balayage and updo styles. Her advanced training includes a month-long intensive training at vidal sassoon london campus, several different courses at Bumble&Bumble university, Martin Parson Updo training and Color Intensives at the Wella Studio, among others.

She loves transforming a look from start to finish and making her clients feel beautiful. Kathryn is inspired by youthful, natural hair. She loves to add her own flair with loose textured styles.

Her interests include traveling to new places, interior design, yoga and spending time with her husband.

Kirsten
Stylist

With five years of experience in hair coloring, hair cutting, styling, balayage, single process coloring and highlighting, Kirsten has kept herself updated by taking Bumble & Bumble network educating classes, hair cutting & coloring courses.

Kirsten enjoys creating new and exciting looks for clients, spending time with friends, family including her puppy. She also enjoys listening to music.

Larry
Style Director

Only a few have as much experience and expertise as Larry. With five decades of experience in hair cutting and hair dressing, Larry continues to spread his love of the craft by teaching and helping young stylists gain confidence in their careers.

Larry himself has trained under some of the best in the business : Vidal Sassoon, John Dellaria, Martin Parsons and Vivienne Mackinder to name a few. He is a member of Intercoiffure, a prestigious world-wide organization.

Melissa
Stylist

Melissa has been a stylist for twenty years. She began working at Citrus from the time it opened in 2004. Formerly, a Bumble&Bumble Network Educator, she has attended numerous cutting/styling workshops at Bumble&Bumble University, NYC and color training workshops at Wella Studios, NYC. Melissa has a business degree from West Chester University.

She is experienced in curly hair, men’s cutting and updos. The greatest part of her job is being able to make someone’s day. It amazes her that something as simple as a haircut or color can change one’s mood and confidence. She loves being a day-maker!

Meghan
Stylist

Meghan has worked at Citrus Salon since 2008 honing her skills in haircuts, hair color, updo styling, braiding and blowdrying services. Prior to switching careers, she attended college to pursue a degree in fine arts. Meghan enjoys turning a blank canvas into a piece of art. She has a good eye for hair and makeup. Her passion is to help people love what they see when they look in the mirror.

She has attended Bumble & Bumble, NYC and Vidal Sassoon, California.

When she is not in the salon, meghan spends most of her time with her beautiful daughter.

Tonya
Stylist

Tonya has eight years of experience in haircutting/styling, coloring, bio-ionic relaxer, keratin reconstruction and perming.

Having attended prestigious institutions like the Wella Studio NYC, Bumble & Bumble University and Graham Webb DC, she now enjoys working and teaching here at Citrus. Her work has been published in haircutting magazines.

Tonya enjoys outdoor activities and also volunteers her time in downtown philadelphia.

Jessica
Color Specialist

Jessica has been specializing in corrective hair color since 2005 creating natural, wearable looks for clients. She has studied with Jo Blackwell, Patrick McIvor, Alexandra Matiz, Wella Studio, Vidal Sassoon & Redken Exchange. She is a redken certified hair colorist.

Jessica loves building relationships and trust with clients. Making them feel and look their best is important to her. She loves cooking, visiting new restaurants, spending time with family, making people laugh and being a mom to her frenchie, Remi.
